I haven’t posted about volunteering boy in a while. So… the other day he asked me out to dinner and I made out like I was really busy on the weekend (I’m not) so we ended up going out last night. We ate dinner and then I was like “hey do you want to get beers and just drink on South Lawn” (which is at my uni), even though I had an 8am class the next day, and he was like “wow, you like beer? Keep telling guys that, that’s really hot.” But I was like, “err it’s just because I’m poor and beer is cheap.” Anyway we ended up doing that and it was so so nice. I started playing him Bon Iver because he’d never heard it before, and I was like, “I can’t believe you’ve never heard of him before, I’ll have to educate you on music.” And he was like, “you probably shouldn’t say that.” So I was like, “why…” And he was like, “because I’ve taken 13 years of classical piano lessons.” WOW fair enough. And then I offered to drive him home, even though he doesn’t live at all close to me, and on the way he was like “and that’s the strip of really nice cafes that I’ll take you to if I’m lucky enough to see you again.” And then I got home and sent him the “I had a really nice night, you can show me around your uni next time” message and he replied “awesome, sounds like a date” omg this has never happened to me before.
