Today my heart swings

I was timetabled on to do “pharmacist shadowing” with my buddy at the hospital’s other campus today. There also happened to be a lecture on at that campus which was being teleconferenced back to my clinical school. My buddy and I thought that we might as well go to the lecture since we were going to be there anyway. So this morning at 8 I rocked up in the lecture theatre and I ended up being the only student there. In fact, I was the only other person there, apart from the lecturer. You can imagine how awkward it was. So I messaged my buddy and said, “WHERE ARE YOU?” He said “seconds away.” He got there and the look on his face when he saw me alone in the lecture theatre with the professor was hilarious. He sat down and said, “jeez no wonder you sent me 3 messages between the times of 8am to 8.05am.”

Anyway it ended up being awesome because it was basically like a private tute with the professor of path and we got to answer all his questions before the guys at the clinical school because there is some delay in the teleconferencing and we got most of the answers right too. And every time we did we’d turn around, look at each, and give a little nod like, “yeahhh, we’re awesome.”
